Born and raised on the east coast, with some time spent in the west, Osprey emerged from the similarities between the coastal, surf lifestyle and the sport of golf. We wanted to create a brand that truly embraces the aesthetics of a surf company and brings them to the golf course. Not only in the clothing, but in the attitude as well.
Thank you to those who have supported OGC so far. We hope to see this grow into something larger than just tees and polos, but a philosophy to live by.
The Legend of the Osprey
In 1984, an outgoing, charismatic man began the construction of his family’s house, on the bayside of a small island off the coast of New Jersey. During the creation, the man noticed an osprey building their nest out in the marsh behind his property. He became fascinated with the bird, feeling as if this bird was a sign of great opportunity for things to come. He would see the osprey everyday, watching over him as his house was built. The osprey quickly became the symbol for this man’s home, later naming his property after the creature. Since then, an osprey sighting in the marsh is never taken lightly. The legend of the osprey.
